We're bringing the roaring crowds, thundering hooves, and electric energy to beautiful British Columbia.

In partnership with the Western Canada Horse Racing Association (WCHRA) and the Desert Park Exhibition Society, we've completely rebuilt the property’s 5/8 mile racetrack surface specifically for high-calibre harness racing.

Our main goal?

Maximum stretch drive.

That's where the magic happens.

Our newly designed homestretch spans 810 feet (247 metres) in length.

This makes the Desert Park Raceway stretch one of the longest of its kind in North America.

We're here for a good time... AND a long time.

Racing operations are fully managed by the WCHRA, a newly formed not-for-profit society created solely for this purpose.

This ensures a vibrant future for the Standardbred industry in British Columbia.

Focusing on industry longevity, equine welfare, and an enhanced customer experience, Desert Park Raceway is here to bring you the thrill of harness racing all right here in the stunning Okanagan Valley.
